1/35 WW1 Italian Obice 305/17 DS Mortar/Howitzer

This weapon system was a carriage designed by Stefano mating an obsolete Italian Navy heavy-cruiser gun to function as a transportable heavy mortar/howitzer.  Ingenious recycling and re-purposing of heavy metal.
