32 pdr siege gun on a rail flat car. 1862 CSA
American Civil War
Make 1of 2 versions
In 1862 General Lee asked if a heavy siege artillery piece could be mounted on a rail way car. The result was the Lee-Brooke 32 pdr railway gun, the word's first rail road gun system.
This model may possibly be the first highly detailed model in 1/72 or 1/35 of the Lee-Brooke railroad gun system.
NOTE: A period water color drawing was created by the CSA at the time. Now thought to be "an artist" interpretation, I have provided options for you to create this "artistic representation" within the kit.
