Killen-Strait Armoured Tractor
In June 1915 The Richard Hornsby & Sons mated the American agricultural tractor from Killen-Strait Tractor Company with armoured plating and thus may have created UK's first tracked AFV. Lessons from this test influenced the development of the No 1 Lincoln Machine: the world’s first tank a precursor to "Little Willie."
