Russian improvised tractor tank KhTZ-16
Russian armor was desperately needed due to the massive and disastrous losses during the summer of 1941. In August 1941 a improvised tractor/tank was hurriedly built and rushed into combat: the KhTZ-16. About 60 were built.
A testament to the spirit of the brave and determined Russian people.
